Tournament Results
December:
On December 4, 2010 - 7 Students traveled to Santa Fe, New Mexico for the USKA 2009 New Mexico State Karate Championships.
The tournament was hosted by Steve Flores, Santa Fe Karate Academy. Complete Martial Arts brought home 17 Trophies from the event.
Miss Carmen Tate placed 1st in Chanbara, 3rd in Kobudo (weapons), 4th in Kata (forms) and 4th in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. John Weis placed 2nd in Chanbara, 3rd in Kata (forms), 3rd in Kumite (Sparing), 3rd in Kobudo (weapons)
Mr. Joseph Weis placed 3rd in Kumite (sparing), 3rd in Kata (forms) and 3rd in Kobudo (weapons).
Mr. Raymond Van Arnam placed 1st in Kata (forms) and 1st in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. Christopher Weis placed 2nd in Kata (forms) and 4th in Kumite (sparing).
Miss Melissa Stonecipher placed 1st in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. Micheal Elliott placed 2nd in Chanbara.

October:
On October 9, 2010 - 5 Students traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the USKA Southwest Regional Championships.
The tournament was hosted by Master James Hawkes, Co-Founder of the United States Karate Alliance. Complete Martial Arts brought home 10 Trophies from the event.
Mr. John Weis placed 1st in Kobudo (weapons), 1st in Chanbara, 2nd in Kata (forms) and 3rd in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. Micheal Elliott placed 2nd in Chanbara and 3rd in Kata (forms).
Mr. Christopher Weis placed 2nd in Kumite (sparing) and 4th in Kata (forms).
Mr. Joseph Weis placed 3rd in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. Jonathan Elliott placed 4th in Chanbara.

September: USKA/NMSKA Tournament & New Mexico State Award Banquet
On September 18, 2010 - Students from Complete Martial Arts traveled to Santa Fe, NM to attend the USKA/NMSKA Tournament & New Mexico State Banquet.
The tournament was hosted by Steve Flores, Santa Fe Karate Academy. Complete Martial Arts brought home 5 Trophies from the event.

Miss Shiloh Langwell placed 1st in Chanbara.
Mr. Michel Elliott placed 2nd in Chanbara.
Mr. Clay West placed 2nd in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. Donal West placed 2nd in Kata (forms).

The Banquet was hosted by the USKA/NMSKA, Owned and Operated by Master James Hawkes & Renshi Steve Flores.
They where announced the 2009-2010 USKA New Mexico State Champions for their divisions.
Mr. Robert Munday was Number 1 in the State for Kata (forms), Number 2 in Kumite (sparing) and Number 2 in Kobudo (weapons).
Miss Katherine McFarland was Number 1 in Kata (forms) and Number 2 in Kumite (sparing).
Mr. John Weis was Number 2 in Kata (forms) and Number 3 in Kobudo (weapons).
Miss Carmen Tate was Number 3 in Kata (forms).
Miss Shiloh Langwell was Number 1 in Kumite (sparing),
Mr. Tanner Sacchi was Number 4 in Kumite (sparing).
Complete Martial Arts would like to Congratulate them on achieving this high award in the United States Karate Alliance and in all across New Mexico.
July: Worlds
On July 22, 2010 - 2 Students from Complete Martial Arts traveled to Dallas, Texas to compete in the 2010 U.S.K.A. World Championships.
The tournament was hosted by the USKA *United States Karate Alliance*, Owned and Operated by Master Jim Hawkes & Dr. David Jordan. Complete Martial Arts brought home 6 Trophies from the event
Mr. Mark Swalley placed 1st in Kumite (sparing)(2010 Adult Kyu World Champion), 1st in Kobudo (weapons)(2010 World Champion) and 3rd in Kata (forms).
Mr. Donovan Kroplien placed 2nd in Kobudo (weapons), 2nd in Kata (forms) & 4th Place in Kumite (sparing).

May:
On May 1, 2010 - 10 Students from Complete Martial Arts Albuquerque, New Mexico for The USKA Budshido Open Tournament.
The tournament was hosted by Master James H. Hawkes. Complete Martial Arts brought home 11 Trophies from the event.
Mr. John Weis placed 4th in Kata (forms) and 4th in Kobudo (weapons).
Miss Shilow Langwell placed 2nd in Kobudo (weapons) and 3rd in Kata (forms).

The tournament was hosted by Eli Guzman. Complete Martial Arts brought home 22 Trophies from the event.

On March 25, 2010 - 8 Students from Complete Martial Arts traveled to Albuquerque, NM to compete in the 2010 U.S.K.A. National Championships.

On February 6, 2010 - 10 Students from Complete Martial Arts traveled to Socorro, NM to compete in Dr. Maiga's 13th Annual Central New Mexico Karate Championships.
The tournament was hosted by the Socorro Academy of Martial Arts, Owned and Operated by Dr. Maiga. Complete Martial Arts brought home 22 Trophies & 3 Medals from the event.
