2010 USKA World Championships Results


2 Students traveled to Dallas, Texas for The 2010 USKA World Championships on July 22,23,24 & 25, 2010. The tournament was hosted by Master James H. Hawkes & Dr. David Jordan. Complete Martial Arts brought home 6 Trophies from the event.

Mr. Mark Swalley Placed 1st, In Kumite (Sparring)(2010 Adult Kyu World Champion), 1st in Kobudo (Weapons)(2010 World Champion) and 3rd in Kata (Forms).
Mr. Donovan Kroplien Placed 2nd in Kobudo (Weapons), 2nd in Kata (Forms) & 4th Place in Kumite (Sparring).

Congratulations go out to both of them, “They did the school Proud”.

10 Students traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico for The USKA Budshido Open Tournament on May 1, 2010. The tournament was hosted by Master James H. Hawkes. Complete Martial Arts brought home 11 Trophies from the event.

Mr. John Weis Placed 4th, In Kata(Forms) and 4th in Kobudo (Weapons).
Miss Shilow Langwell Placed 2nd in Kobudo (Weapons) and 3rd in Kata (Forms).
Mr. Robert Munday Placed 1st Kata (Forms), 3rd in Kobudo (Weapons).
Mr. Nick Sanchez Placed 1st in Kata (Forms), 1st in Kumite (Sparring).
Mr. Josh Martin Placed 3rd in Kata (Forms) and 3rd in Kumite (Sparring).
Miss. Katherine McFarland Placed 1st in Kata (Forms), 1st in Kumite (Sparring).

10 Students traveled to Socorro, New Mexico for Dr. Maiga's 13th Annual Central New Mexico Karate Championships (USKA) on Saturday February 6, 2010. The tournament was hosted by the Socorro Academy of Martial Arts, Owned and Operated by Dr. Maiga. Complete Martial Arts brought home 22 Trophies & 3 Medals from the event.
