American Spirit Tae Kwon Do Interschool Tournament Winners!


On 4 November, 2008 Students from Complete Martial Arts competed in a local tournemnt.

Mr. John Weis, 1st in Teen advanced Kata, and 2nd in Teen advanced Sparring. Mr. Mark Swalley, 1st in intermediate Adult Kata, 1st in advanced Adult Sparring, and 1st in beginning Adult Board Breaking. Mr. Chris Weis, 1st in advanced Adult Kata and 3rd in advanced Adult Sparring. Mr. Koden Tarvin, 2nd in advanced Adult Sparring and 3rd in beginning Adult Board Breaking.
Congratulations go out to all of them, "They did the school Proud."

2008 Southwest Reginal Championship Winners!


On 4 October, 2008 Students from Complete Martial Arts traveled to Albuquerque, NM to compete in the 2008 Southwest Reginal Championships.

The tournament was hosted by the USKA *United States Karate Alliance*, Owned and Operated by Master Jim Hawkes. The Students were (left to right):

Miss Carmen Tate, 2nd in Teen Girls Sparing, and 2nd in Teen Girls Kata. Mr. Mark Swalley, 2nd in Color Belt Men’s Sparing and 3nd in Color Belt Men’s Kata. Congratulations go out to all of them, “They did the school Proud”.

“SHO SHIN” Martial Arts Championship Winners!


On 6 September, 2008 Students from Complete Martial Arts traveled to Albuquerque, NM to compete in the “SHO SHIN” Martial Arts Championship.

The tournament was hosted by the New Mexico Shotokan Dojo, Owned and Operated by Mr. Randy Sanders. The Students were (back row, left to right):
